Clippers Drop Contest 6-5, Travel To Elora For Deciding Game

Elora scored the last four goals of the game to come from behind and give the Mohawks the win in game four. Elora had heavy possession in the last several minutes of the third period and chipped away at a 5-2 deficit.

The winning goal came with 26 seconds remaining in what was the last shot of the game. Elora was heavily outshot by the Clippers 77-45.

Zane Dalpe (1-2) & Calum Brennan (0-3) led the way for the Clippers with three points each. Also scoring for the Clippers were Malikye Good, Josh Rosa, Connor McManus & Xander Derkatz. Chase Cosgrove took the loss in goal.

So it’s off the game five Monday afternoon at 4pm in Elora. The winner takes the Western Conference Championship and advances to the OJBLL Final. The winner of that moves on to the National Championship in Brampton, Ontario.
